A mushroom is the visible, umbrella-shaped reproductive structure (sporophore) of certain fungi, and for more context the creatures on earth are divide into many kingdoms and mushrooms are a type in the fungi kingdom with yeast and mold… well for those who are wondering isn't mushrooms very similar to plants, so why aren't they plants ? its simple even though they kinda look like them and even prouduce (not really but kinda) like them, they don't make their own food ,fungi “eat” dead, decomposing plants and/or animals. this is a common fact that some of them develop a poison which can kill people who eat them. Some don't. The main parts of a mushroom include the mycelium,stipe, and mushroom cap. the mycelium part is underground they can spread through soil, wood, leaves, etc.

mushrooms and humans had a loooong friendship since ages ago, and like every relationship you had in your life (if you had any ofc…)has it own up and downs
- it was an edible food for many cultures, Egyptians thought of mushroom as the 'food of the gods. They believed that eating them could help them live longer or even make them immortal. to Greeks they used it during certain ceremonies and reported seeing visions and ghostly apparitions (they were wild huh!). even Chinese used it as a medicine like Lingzhi, this glossy, woody mushroom was hoarded by ancient Chinese emperors who believed it increased spiritual potency and longevity
- in the middle ages,Europe, mushrooms were associated with witchcraft and evil, which is also reflected in the names they were given, such as Devil's Fingers and Satan's bolete.
- my favorite part came and its fairy tales and legends, they often serve as the dwelling place of dwarfs or fairies. and associated with autumn vibes or witches in the dump forest.
- Today, about 150,000 spesies of fungi have been discovered, they are used generlly in culinary delicacy in many shapes or some people may take them to have their own trips (wink wink ). even though there is up to 3.8 million species that haven't been discovered
